Born and raised in London, poet Tom Raworth travelled and worked in the United States and Mexico in the 1970s, returning to England in 1977 to be Resident Poet at King's College, Cambridge, the city in which he still lives. Since 1966 he has published more than forty books and pamphlets of poetry, prose and translations, in several countries. He was editor of three literary/art magazines: (1961-63); ! (1964); and (1986-87). During the 1960s he also ran two small presses - Matrix and Goliard.
